I was born in Canada to Austrian parents and grew up with the influence of both cultures. I grew up and went to school in a suburb of Toronto called Brampton. I had a pretty safe and calm upbringing with all the advantages of living close to the country's largest city.

My high school, St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School helped make my dream of acting a reality. While at Aquinas, I had the chance to act and direct. In 'Lend Me A Tenor' I played Maria Marelli. This production was invited to perform in Lincoln, Nebraska as part of the International Thespian Society Showcase.

In 2006, I got accepted to one of Canada's most multifaceted and intensive acting conservatories: The Theatre and Drama Studies Specialist Program at the University of Toronto at Mississauga, a joint Programm with Sheridan College. It was a ton of work, but totally worth it!

During my studies we worked on: General Movement, Period Movement, Ballet, Jazz, Laban, Suzuki, Michael Chekhov, Voice, Text, Shakespeare, Ibsen, Shaw, Anton Chekhov, Tennessee Williams, Canadian Comedy, Comedy of Manners, Absurdism, Melodrama, Film acting, Clown, Mask, Character Mask, Collaborative Playwrighting, Directing, Devising, Theatre History, Research, Choral Singing, Solos, Improvisation and more.

After university I decided to move to Austria which was something I wanted to do for a long time. In Austria I have been able to work as an actor and director as well as create and produce new work like the movie "Kommissar Taler". Working on the movie taught me many skills in Marketing, Cutting, Colour Correction and Producing.

Back in 2012 I started the theatre group called Theatermenschen in Linz and we have been able to bring new english plays to Upper Austria. In 2014, I completed a post-secondary training for management in the arts.

I've also had the chance to work as an assistant director for Rupert Henning, Ingo Berk, Enrico Lübbe and Katrin Hiller.

Important theatres that I've worked in include:

  • Volkstheater Wien
  • Schauspielhaus Graz
  • Sommerspiele Melk

In my free time I like to go bike riding, baking, reading and working out. I also love to play Nintendo - my ID is "ooominnie", so feel free to befriend me!

All in all, I'm a passionate and hard-working lady, who loves to laugh and have fun creating with other artists. I'm a positive person who believes everyone is capable of anything they set their minds too. ;)
